Travel to Berlin Friedrichshagen (IGB)
Location: The institute is located in the south east of Berlin, in the Friedrichshagen area. The main building at Müggelseedamm 310 and the Rieseler building at Müggelseedamm 301 are situated adjacent to Berlin's historic waterworks buildings, on the north shore of Berlin's largest lake, the Müggelsee. For going by car please have a look at the road map below.
Parking places are available at the tram station terminus at the waterworks "Altes Wasserwerk" in Friedrichshagen, adjacent to Müggelseedamm. From there, walk east along Müggelseedamm for 500 m to the institute, (in the direction of the old waterworks museum buildings - Museum im Wasserwerk).

By train: From the Berlin Ostbahnhof station, take the S3 train in the direction of Erkner to Friedrichshagen. Change to the no. 60 tram traveling towards "Altes Wasserwerk", and get out at the last station. Walk east along Müggelseedamm for about 500 m to the institute, (in the direction of the old waterworks museum buildings - "Museum im Wasserwerk").

By plane from Berlin-Tegel:
Take bus TXL to the "Beusselstraße" S-Bahn station. From there travel by S41 train in the direction of "Ringbahn" to station "Ostkreuz". Change to S3 direction "Erkner" or "Friedrichshagen". Get out at station Friedrichshagen. Change to the no. 60 tram traveling towards "Altes Wasserwerk", and get out at the last station. Walk east along Müggelseedamm for about 500 m to the institute, (in the direction of the old waterworks museum buildings - Museum im Wasserwerk).

Take the S9, S45 train in the direction (insert direction here) as far as "Adlershof". From there, travel by tram no 60 towards the "Altes Wasserwerk", and get out at the last station. Walk east along Müggelseedamm for about 500 m to the institute, (in the direction of the old waterworks museum buildings - Museum im Wasserwerk).
